William Azkoul MDWilliam Azkoul, M.D. earned his B.S. in neuroscience with a minor in music at the University of Michigan. He completed medical school at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He continued his training in otolaryngology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Azkoul provides medical and surgical care of general ear, nose and throat problems for both pediatric and adult patients. His special areas of interest include:

  • Pediatric sleep disorders/snoring, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
  • Pediatric sore throat and recurrent tonsillitis
  • Recurrent ear infections and ear tubes

  Mickie Hamiter, MD
  ABO Certified

Kaete Archer, MD is a triple board-certified Otolaryngologist. Dr. Archer received her Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery training at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She pursued subspecialty fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to become an expert in the comprehensive care of the nose, sinuses and skull base.

As a Rhinologist, she provides both medical and surgical care for adults with diseases of the nose, sinuses and skull base including chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal tumors, skull base tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, nasal obstruction, epistaxis and nasal valve collapse. Dr. Archer also performs minimally-invasive techniques under local anesthesia including balloon sinuplasty, eustachian tube balloon dilation, inferior turbinate reduction and nasal valve repair.

  Mickie Hamiter, MD
  ABO Certified

Mickie J. Hamiter, MD graduated in 2013 from Louisiana State University Health Shreveport School of Medicine. He was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, a national organization of outstanding medical school students.

Dr. Hamiter completed post-graduate residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

After residency training, Dr. Hamiter served as faculty at LSU Health Shreveport for 4 years. During this time, he was the associate otolaryngology residency program director and responsible for creating the educational curriculum for the ENT resident trainees. He then decided to pursue further training in Otology/Neurotology.

Dr. Hamiter completed a two-year fellowship in Otology, Neurotology and Skullbase surgery at New York Presbyterian - Columbia/Cornell program in New York City.

Mauricio Parra Ferro MDMauricio Parra-Ferro, M.D. is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Medicine, where he ranked among the top 10% of his class and was recognized for his exceptional academic achievements with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors society. He completed his Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery internship and residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine where he also served as Chief Resident.

Throughout medical school and residency, Dr. Parra-Ferro distinguished himself as a scholar and researcher. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and presented his work at local and national conferences.

Dr. Parra-Ferro is passionate about providing comprehensive care that centers around the needs of patients from all backgrounds, and is particularly dedicated to serving the Spanish-speaking community. As a proud member of a Colombian family, he understands the importance of cultural sensitivity and effective communication, and is committed towards ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care.

In his free time, Dr. Parra-Ferro enjoys spending quality time with his wife and newborn son, as well as hiking and exploring the world while honing his skills as an avid photographer.
