Dr. Mason Johnson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky, graduating Summa Cum Laude, medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and completed his residency from the University of Florida College of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the Florida Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
He has received the following awards and honors:

- Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Patients’ Choice Award
- Halda Shaw Best Research Presentation Award, Caribbean Association of Otolaryngology
