Dr. Compton has been practicing in Southwest Florida since 2016. She is originally from Kansas and went to medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed an internship in general surgery in Pennsylvania and a residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery in Akron, Ohio. 

Dr. Compton is a general otolaryngologist. Her specific interests include: head and neck cancer, thyroid and neck surgery, and surgical treatment of skin disorders. She also enjoys her pediatric patients immensely.​

In her time away from the office, Dr. Compton enjoys traveling, the beach, biking, coaching soccer, and spending time with her family.
