Laura Rivas, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Associate dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for patients with ear, nose and throat concerns. With two years of focused experience in outpatient Otolaryngology, she is committed to helping patients better understand their symptoms, treatment options and path forward.
Laura evaluates and manages a broad range of ENT conditions, with particular experience in chronic sinus and nasal disorders, sleep-related breathing conditions including obstructive sleep apnea, allergies, and other general ear, nose and throat concerns. She understands that ENT symptoms can affect many aspects of daily life, including breathing, sleep, comfort and overall well-being, and takes an individualized approach to each patient's care.
Working closely with the physicians and ENT care team, Laura performs comprehensive evaluations, develops personalized treatment plans, orders diagnostic testing, prescribes medications, and performs appropriate in-office procedures. She believes that providing excellent care begins with truly listening to each patient and understanding how their symptoms affect their daily lives. Laura strives to ensure her patients feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their concerns and actively participating in decisions about their health.
Laura earned her Master of Health Science and completed her Physician Assistant training at Nova Southeastern University. Known for her compassionate and empathetic approach, she values building trusting relationships with her patients and helping them feel heard, informed and supported throughout their care.
